Miami will host the final phase of the 2027 FIFA Women's Champions Cup, scheduled for January 27 to 31 next year. The decision was announced at the 76th FIFA Congress in Vancouver, Canada. It will be the second edition of the flagship tournament, which was held in London earlier this year, where Arsenal defeated Corinthians to lift the title.
It was also announced that Armenia and Georgia will co-host the 2029 U-20 World Cup. Meanwhile, the U-17 World Cup 2026 in Qatar will take place from November 19 to December 13. Building on the creation of the Afghan women's refugee team, the FIFA Council agreed to amend governance regulations to allow the team's participation in official FIFA competitions, enabling other member associations that may not be able to register a national team to take the next step.
